What do you do in your spare time? I have lots of hobbies but one of my favourites is hosting people in my historic B&B, I love entertaining, providing a concierge service booking resturants, vineyard tours, hiking and biking to mention a few, we can order the chef to cook for you onsite or you can walk to the local pub what ever you feel like doing. As an interior designer I absolutely love creating guest accommodation, I have always felt that should have what you have at home plus much more, so I like to make my guests feel like friends with often a homemade raspberry gin on the lawn to some homemake cake and tea in the newly renovated dining room. I have worked so hard to get the business working efficiently that I forgot to stop and see what I have achieved and after winning best historic accommodation in 2023 we have just recieved the fabulous news of winning in the booking.com traveller awards.

After ten long months of waiting for listed building consent, we're happy to report that the bathrooms have finally been approved and work will begin shortly. Kerrie's grand designs are sure to impress, and our guests will have plenty to write about in their reviews.
Kerrie shared with us how frustrating it was to receive 10/10 ratings in all areas except for facilities, due to the delays in obtaining listed building consent. She took the guests' comments to heart and made practical improvements wherever possible.
We're pleased to announce that tea and coffee making facilities are now available in all rooms, complete with sparkling new designer kettles and a Tassimo coffee machine in the grand hall. We can't wait for our guests to experience the new and improved amenities.

Spenford House is an imposing and rare part timber framed listed grade 2 period detached village house, set in general size established gardens adjoining open farmland with wonderful views towards Grinshill. 
The timber frame has taken quite a beeting over the last 50 years where it's once solid oak frame held together the form and structure of the house. Now it can only be described as poorly looked after. There is cement mastic and expanding foam being injected into the frame in order to stabilise it. Of course anybody knowing anything about timber would know that these do not MARRY and therefore should not be used together. it is my mission to try and rebuild the timber frame so that it stands another few decades to come. I will be doing this using traditional methods with infill panels, sheep wool, and lime mortar.
